3. Quotations and Estimates

All quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A quotation is a fixed price for the specific work detailed in the document. Any additional work requested by the client or required due to unforeseen structural issues will be subject to additional charges, which will be agreed upon in writing before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

Payment schedules will be detailed in your specific project contract. Standard payment terms typically require:

• A 25% deposit to secure your booking and order materials.
• A 50% stage payment upon commencement of the installation.
• The final 25% balance upon practical completion and your satisfaction with the work.

All invoices must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date. Late payments may incur interest charges.

5. Project Timeline

We will provide an estimated start and completion date for your project. While we make every effort to adhere to these timelines, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g., material supply delays, unforeseen structural issues). We will communicate any changes to the schedule promptly.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of signing the contract to cancel without penalty, provided work has not commenced and bespoke materials have not been ordered. If you cancel after bespoke materials have been ordered, you will be liable for the cost of those materials. Cancellations must be made in writing.

7. Liability and Warranties

We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion. Materials and fixtures supplied by us are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised alterations by the client or third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, and plans created by BathroomMaster York remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. You may not use our designs for execution by another contractor without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BathroomMaster York shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, arising out of or related to our services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for those specific services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BathroomMaster York and its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the renovated premises.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be referred to an independent mediator or alternative dispute resolution service before pursuing legal action.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
